Volunteers are vitally important to the Museum Society. It relies on the many skills, talents, and creative ideas volunteers have to contribute. By helping to provide a service to the community, volunteers gain a sense of personal accomplishment and feel the
satisfaction of making a difference.
There are many rewarding opportunities for active volunteers, as well as those who help on an occasional basis. The Society appreciates every hour volunteers contribute. They help the Museum Society reach its goal of providing a place where the community
can share and learn from its past.

Whether working with others or working independently, each area offers opportunities and challenges.
The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The time donated not only helps the Museum Society, it helps the volunteer learn more about Vermilion County history.
