Fithian Home Renovations January through July 2010
For the Celebrating Lincoln year at the Museum, renovations were done on the outside of the Fithian Home back porch. This year that work continued with the renovation of the interior of the porch. With donations from school groups, civic organizations, and individuals, the work has been completed. |

The bead board on the ceiling was stripped of paint and stained a period color. New framing was made for the windows to match the original porch woodwork. |
